Phase One

In 2016 as the memorial phase of the campus neared completion, the VMPMC teamed up with the Hillsborough County Legislative Delegation and with the help of Senator Tom Lee secured a $1.5 million grant from the Florida Department of Economic Development for Phase 1 of the MLC, the Veteran Resource Center (VRC).

The VRC, operational in November 2017, will be the new home of Hillsborough County Veteran Affairs Office and a one-stop point of contact to assist veterans and their families.  Other active military and veteran resources will also form the VRC nucleus.
